Position Summary Reporting to the Operations Manager, the AZ Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of equipment, materials, and vehicles between local job sites, yards, and suppliers across the GTA. This is a local, hands-on role — not a long-haul or over-the-road position. The driver works directly alongside our landscape crews on-site, helping load, unload, and set up equipment, rather than simply making deliveries and moving on. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a job site team, not just behind the wheel — candidates with only long-haul/OTR experience and no interest in site-based, physical work are not a fit for this role. Key Responsibilities Driving & Transport Safely operate AZ-licensed vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and machinery between local sites, yards, and suppliers within the GTA/GTHA Load, secure, and transport heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, tractors, etc.) using flat trailers Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with MTO regulations Plan efficient local routes, accounting for site access, load restrictions, and time-sensitive deliveries Equipment & Site Support Work alongside the crew at job sites — assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials, and support general site setup as needed Report vehicle or trailer maintenance issues promptly Safety & Compliance Maintain compliance with MTO regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies Ensure proper securement of loads in accordance with safety standards Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation Communication Communicate delivery schedules, delays, or site issues to the Operations Manager Coordinate with crews and dispatch to ensure timely equipment availability Qualifications Valid AZ license with 2+ years of driving experience Comfortable being hands-on and physically active at job sites, not just driving Clean driving record and ability to pass a driver's abstract check Experience hauling heavy equipment on trailers considered a strong asset Knowledge of MTO regulations and load securement standards Strong communication and time-management skills Comfortable working flexible daytime hours Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Local routes only — home every day, no overnight travel Opportunities for growth and advancement within a fast-growing company Supportive, team-oriented workplace environment
