Role Description This full-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role is based in Edmonton, AB. The therapist will conduct thorough client consultations, assess needs and preferences, and deliver appropriate massage treatments that align with individual wellness goals. Daily responsibilities include performing a variety of massage techniques, maintaining accurate treatment notes, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming treatment environment. The role also involves educating clients on self-care, stress management, and treatment plans, as well as collaborating with team members to provide consistent, high-quality service. The therapist is expected to uphold professional standards, respect client confidentiality, and contribute positively to the clinic’s atmosphere and reputation. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in therapeutic massage techniques and body massage appropriate for diverse client needs. Experience or training in specialized modalities such as Shiatsu and other complementary massage approaches. Ability to support clients with stress management through tailored treatments and wellness guidance. Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, empathetic approach. Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with local and provincial regulations. Completion of an accredited massage therapy program and ongoing commitment to professional development. Ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage appointment schedules, and adhere to clinic policies and procedures. Physical stamina and proper body mechanics to perform massages safely throughout the workday.
