Job summary
As a warehouse team lead, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. Your focus is on the organization and efficient flow of inventory. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position. Day Shift : 6 am - 2:30pm- Monday to Friday What you will accomplish with us: Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Implement and maintain audit processes to optimize storage solutions and streamline operations. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to schedule deliveries. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety and health regulations within the warehouse environment. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Communication and Problem Resolution: Liaise with transportation companies and internal departments to resolve shipping or receiving issues. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery. Ensure office supplies and equipment is in good repair and of adequate supply. What You Bring to Our Team: At least 3 years of previous experience in inventory, shipping, or receiving within a warehouse environment. Experience with software applications including MS Office. Experience with RF systems and Warehouse Management Systems. Strong operational knowledge of a distribution environment (an asset). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while still being detail-oriented. Ability to build SOPs and other relevant documents as needed.
