MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager with High Voltage Construction experience on behalf of our client to manage high-voltage substation and powerline construction projects across Western Canada. This position will take ownership of multiple projects, with responsibility for safety, schedule, financial performance, forecasting, procurement, change management, client relationships, risk management and project closeout. The ideal candidate brings significant project management and construction experience along with a strong background in high-voltage construction. This role is well suited to someone who understands both the field execution and commercial side of major electrical infrastructure projects. Location: Calgary, AB Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday in office, Friday work from home. Responsibilities Manage multiple high-voltage substation and powerline construction projects across Western Canada. Lead projects with a strong focus on safe execution and overall project performance. Manage project schedules, budgets, financial performance and margins. Prepare and maintain project forecasts. Coordinate procurement requirements throughout project execution. Manage project changes and ensure changes are properly identified and addressed. Maintain strong working relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Identify, track and manage project risks and issues. Oversee projects through completion and closeout. Work closely with project and field teams to support successful construction execution. Qualifications Must-Haves 10+ years of project management experience. 5+ years of experience managing construction projects. Extensive high-voltage construction experience. Strong understanding of high-voltage construction project execution. Related degree or college education and/or relevant substation construction supervision/Journeyperson experience. Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, financials, forecasting, procurement, changes, risks and client relationships. Nice-to-Haves 5+ years of Journeyperson experience in high-voltage construction. ???????P.Eng. designation. PMI certification or related project management credentials. Experience working in a regulated utility environment. Substation construction supervision experience. Requirements

Requires 10 or more years of project management experience, at least five years managing construction projects, and extensive high-voltage construction experience. Candidates must have relevant education and/or substation construction supervision or Journeyperson experience, with demonstrated capability across project financials, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, change and risk management, and client relationships.
