ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: McDougall Energy is seeking an individual to join our Fleet and Distribution team in the role of Fleet Maintenance Advisor. We are accepting applications from across Ontario, and the successful candidate will be based on-site at their nearest McDougall Energy branch. Reporting to the Corporate Fleet Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for: * Provide our many Operations locations with technical support for the maintenance of their fleets of heavy, medium duty, and light duty vehicles. * Subject matter expert for advising our internal staff on heavy truck maintenance and troubleshooting. * Interacting on behalf of our internal staff with third party repair shops when required. * Conveying company standards / expectations for repair and documentation. * Monitors compliance with inspections, maintenance standards, etc. at each internal location * Costing reviews / validation of billing. * Assists with adherence to regulatory compliance items and preventative maintenance schedules. * Routine travel to visit our operating hubs, and the service providers who support them, to maintain positive business relationships and to monitor condition of our vehicles. ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have: * Specific understanding of heavy truck and trailer maintenance and troubleshooting. * Previous experience as a Truck and Coach (310T) Technician or related field would be an asset. * Fuel handling experience would be a major asset. * Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance software and documentation systems. * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adjust to changing business needs WHAT WE OFFER: We offer career growth and development through on-the-job training, professional courses, and peer learning in an inclusive work environment that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally.
