About the Role We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of security-focused technology initiatives that protect and strengthen enterprise systems. This role manages end-to-end execution of mid-sized projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements. You will work across cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineering, risk, compliance, and vendor partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions. This position is ideal for a project manager with strong experience in risk management, financial oversight, and modern delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. What You’ll Do Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity and IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, quality, and budget expectations Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues; maintain clear risk logs and escalation paths Manage project budgets, including forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) based on project needs Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of solutions Monitor project performance, KPIs, and governance requirements; provide clear status reporting Drive change management and support user adoption through communication and training initiatives Basic Requirements 4+ years of experience in IT project management, cybersecurity project delivery, or program management Demonstrated experience in risk and issue management, including identification, tracking, and mitigation Strong experience managing project budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies Proficiency using project management tools (e.g., Planview, Jira, MS Project or similar) Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors in a regulated or enterprise environment Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field Preferred Skills/Experience Experience delivering cybersecurity initiatives (e.g., cloud security, access control, risk remediation) Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory environments (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, ISO) Experience with DevSecOps or secure SDLC practices Strong analytical and reporting skills, including dashboards and executive-level communication Experience facilitating stakeholder alignment and decision-making across technical and business teams Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CISSP, or equivalent Travel / In-Office / Physical Requirements Hybrid or remote work environment (based on business needs) Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration or key project milestones Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
