Social Services Transportation Support Staff (Driver)

Our Family Development Program located in Rocky Mountain House is seeking a: Casual Transportation Support Staff (Driver) The Family Development Program provides caring and professional family support to help develop positive family relationships by teaching parenting, living, communication and behavior management skills. This program helps children, youth and parents struggling with a variety of issues. Clients are referred to this program from their local Children Services office. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: * High School Diploma * Required 1 year of experience working with children or vulnerable populations * Proof of Membership in Professional Association (when applicable) * Basic First Aid Level C with adult, child, and infant CPR &AED * Suicide Intervention Training & De-Escalation Training * Intervention Record Check & Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector * Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and reliable vehicle for client transportation * 2 Million third party liability coverage Responsibilities include: * Transporting clients to and from; supervised visits, appointments and programs * Complete necessary paperwork related to transporting clients * Travel to various locations within Central Alberta, travel outside of the region is occasionally required * Install McMan approved car seats Hourly Wage: $18.00 per hour., Travel Reimbursement at $0.57/KM. Schedule will vary based on referrals and client needs. Candidates must be available to work select afternoons, evenings and weekends to provide programming that serves a wide range of populations. Transport clients to supervised visits, appointments, and programs within Central Alberta. Complete necessary transportation paperwork and ensure the proper installation of approved car seats.

Requires a High School Diploma, a Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract, and one year of experience with children or vulnerable populations. Must possess First Aid Level C, Suicide Intervention, and De-Escalation training, along with a clean criminal record check.
