We offer a number of support resources that are available for everyone: Students, Alumni, Staff, and Hamilton The role of a Food Collective Centre General Volunteer has flexibility and opportunities for specialization. Depending on your availability and interests, you can assume as many or as few roles/leadership positions as you feel comfortable within this service. Volunteers can be involved in aiding the execution and development of Food Collective Centre Social and Political Advocacy campaigns. Regular responsibilities will include participating in planning meetings, gathering information, promoting campaigns, answering advocacy inquiries, attending relevant sessions of McMaster governing bodies, as well as providing additional support if necessary. Additionally, volunteers are encouraged to help with the packing of Good Food Boxes (GFBs) on the morning of the first Tuesday of every month. Regular responsibilities include sorting local produce, packing local produce into boxes/bags under direction, transporting Good Food Boxes back to McMaster campus, and helping with the distribution of Good Food Boxes to buyers. They will also be responsible for providing additional support to the Good Food Coordinator for promotions and marketing. Requirements

Applicants must be McMaster University undergraduate students enrolled in 18 units or more to be eligible for employment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
