Position Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Logistics representative to join our team, blending operational expertise with attention to details. In this role, you will oversee container dispatch operations, ensuring efficient scheduling and on-time deliveries. Beyond managing day-to-day logistics, you will leverage your data analysis skills to generate performance reports and support process improvements. Your strong communication and problem-solving abilities will be key to collaborating with internal teams and building productive relationships with strategic partners. If you excel at keeping operations organized, maintaining accurate records, and adapting to constant change while ensuring smooth execution, we want to hear from you. Level of Responsibility Works independently on individual tasks under high supervision. No direct responsibility for guiding others. Key Tasks Assist in securing capacity to move containers by truck based on Logistics needs. Take responsibility for scheduling and dispatching trucking resources. Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and as per MSC requirements. Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, ensuring proper documentation and reporting. Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and improve operational efficiency. Assist the finance department to review & approve invoices associated with trucking. Skills / Experience: All MSC Canada employees are expected to exhibit the MSC Values, striving to drive customer centric results in all interactions with colleagues and customers alike. 2 years of experience in a logistics environment (preferably dispatching), or similar role in a related industry. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply chain considered an asset). Advanced Microsoft and Excel skills with an ability to expand capabilities. Experience working with a customer relationship system (CRM). Effective communication & strong interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
