As the Director of Project Management, based in Oakville, you will lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will oversee project plans, manage budgets, and ensure timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Client Details Our client is a well known General Contractor based in Oakville. Description Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Provide strategic direction and oversight throughout all phases of commercial construction projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Support project teams by identifying risks, resolving issues, and implementing effective solutions. Monitor project performance, financials, schedules, procurement, and resource allocation. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Review contracts, project budgets, schedules, and change orders. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and best practices. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Participate in executive planning, forecasting, and business strategy discussions. Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client meetings, and strategic initiatives when required.
