We are seeking highly motivated Junior Associate Lawyer for Corporate Commercial Law, who will navigate the complexities of working in a busy law firm. The successful applicants will work closely with leading lawyers and be involved in all aspects of the Group practices. Role Description The Junior Associate Lawyer (Corporate Commercial Law) will support senior lawyers in delivering corporate and commercial legal services to clients from the Windsor, ON office in an on-site, full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, corporate documents, and transactional agreements, as well as assisting with due diligence and corporate governance matters. The role involves conducting legal research, preparing memoranda and opinions, and supporting the negotiation and implementation of commercial transactions. The Junior Associate will participate in client meetings, help prepare closing documents, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of legal work. The position offers exposure to a broad range of corporate and commercial matters in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, including contract drafting, transactional work, and corporate governance. Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and writing, with the ability to prepare clear, well-reasoned memoranda and opinions. Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents, managing due diligence materials, and organizing transaction files. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage professionally with clients. Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Interest in corporate and commercial transactions and a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
