Role Description This full-time, on-site Family Lawyer role is based at Mint Legal’s Calgary, AB office located on Macleod Trail. The Family Lawyer will Independently managing family law files from intake through resolution Providing legal advice and representation in court, mediation, and settlement discussions Drafting pleadings, affidavits, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents Conducting legal research and remaining current on legislative and case law developments Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent, responsive client service Collaborating with other members of the firm when appropriate Qualifications Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta Previous experience practicing family law considered an asset Strong working knowledge of Alberta family law legislation and court procedures Demonstrated ability to independently manage files and conduct court appearances Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy practice Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service Compensation Fee-share compensation model

Requirements
Candidates must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta with a strong knowledge of Alberta family law legislation. Previous experience in family law and the ability to independently manage files and court appearances are highly valued.
