Job details
The Opportunity: ML6 is partnering with a well-established, nationally recognized quick-service restaurant organization to identify a Regional Operations Manager to oversee its Greater Montreal portfolio. This individual will be responsible for driving the performance of a multi-unit restaurant network, working closely with franchise partners and restaurant operators to improve sales, profitability, customer experience and operational consistency. The role requires a hands-on leader who enjoys being in the field, building relationships and working directly with operators to identify opportunities, address challenges and execute business priorities. You will serve as a key link between corporate leadership and restaurant-level operations, ensuring business objectives, brand standards and operational initiatives are consistently delivered across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multi-unit restaurant leader who understands the dynamics of a franchise environment and can balance commercial performance with people leadership and operational execution. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee the operational and financial performance of an assigned portfolio of restaurants, identifying opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, productivity and overall unit performance. Develop strong relationships with franchisees and restaurant operators, acting as a trusted business partner and providing ongoing guidance, support and accountability. Conduct regular restaurant visits and operational reviews to assess execution, identify gaps and ensure consistency across food quality, service, cleanliness, safety and brand standards. Provide hands-on leadership, mentorship and coaching to restaurant operators and management teams, helping strengthen leadership capabilities and improve business results. Analyze financial and operational reporting to evaluate individual restaurant performance, identify trends and develop actionable improvement plans. Lead the rollout and adoption of corporate programs, operational policies, training initiatives and new business priorities throughout the region. Drive a consistent customer experience across all locations, reinforcing service standards, product quality and customer satisfaction. Coordinate and oversee new restaurant launches, ownership transitions and operational changeovers, ensuring teams are prepared and locations are set up for success. Work alongside corporate departments to communicate field-level feedback, coordinate resources and ensure franchise partners receive the support required to operate effectively. Facilitate regular business updates, operator meetings, training sessions and communications to keep restaurant partners aligned with organizational objectives. What You'll Need to Be Successful: 5+ years of progressive experience in multi-unit restaurant operations, ideally within the quick-service restaurant (QSR) or broader food service industry. Previous experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations and managing relationships with franchisees, franchise partners or independent operators. Strong understanding of restaurant-level financial performance, including sales growth, labour management, food costs, profitability and operational KPIs. Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and hold operators accountable for business performance and operational standards. A hands-on leadership approach, with a willingness to spend significant time in the field working directly with restaurant teams. Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret business reporting and translate findings into operational improvements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Highly organized, adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities across a geographically dispersed portfolio. A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to lead through influence and drive change. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Greater Montreal Area, including approximately one to two overnight trips per month. Compensation Range: $80,000 - $90,000 base salary + bonus, and company vehicle.
