About the role CSS Wind Inc is hiring a Wind Turbine Technician for a traveling role. Work locations vary and frequent or constant travel is required. You will assemble, install, maintain, and repair turbine machinery and related mechanical equipment, working at heights and in all weather conditions. Staff accommodation is provided while traveling. Responsibilities - Assemble mechanical equipment and install machinery and equipment - Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions - Read blueprints, drawings, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements - Repair or replace defective machinery parts; fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup - Perform routine maintenance work on machinery - Operate machining tools, hoisting, and lifting equipment - Supervise other workers as required Qualifications - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience - 3 to less than 5 years of related experience - WHMIS certificate; criminal record check required - Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel - Experience with electrical and electronic controls, hydraulic systems, power tools, turbines, and hand tools - Physically demanding role: handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods - Team player with attention to detail, able to work under pressure Pay & benefits - Travel expenses paid by the employer; gasoline paid - Night shift premium; free parking available - Staff accommodation provided (relocation costs not covered by employer) How to apply Submit your application through this posting.
