Manufacturing Engineer Location: Markham, ON - Onsite Salary: $90,000 Industry: Defense and Space Manufacturing Modern Technical Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a fast‑growing Canadian aerospace company developing advanced space hardware and propulsion systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a hands‑on, high‑precision, cross‑functional environment and enjoys bridging product design with manufacturing execution. As a Manufacturing Engineer you are responsible for designing, implementing and improving manufacturing instructions, and processes to ensure parts and products are produced efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. You will bridge the product design and manufacturing floor execution. You will work cross functionally with design engineers, technicians and the supply chain. Core responsibilities Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for new and existing products. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for quality or production issues Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process control plans Collaborate with product design/engineering teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA) Support capital equipment selection, installation, and validation Support root-cause investigations for anomalies during testing or flight Create and maintain technical documentation, including design reviews, test reports, and requirements traceability Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role in aerospace, aviation, nuclear or automotive Proactive mindset: identifies blockers (technical, schedule, resource, or process) early and drives them to resolution to keep the program moving.

Requirements
