Position Description The Accounting department is seeking a value-driven team player to fill the position of Accounting Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in enhancing their knowledge and experience in US GAAP Accounting by following accounting standards set forth by the Corporate Office. This represents an exciting opportunity for a goal oriented fresh graduate looking to gain some valuables skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, review, and process invoices in compliance with Modine policies. Verify accuracy if invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments. Prepare and execute payments by monitoring payment schedules to ensure adherence. Reconcile payment transactions and resolve any outstanding issues. Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. Work closely with procurement and finance teams to streamline invoice processing. Required Education & Qualifications New graduates in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Proven analytical skills and attention to detail. Team player who is motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on a new challenge. Previous internship experience in a related field would be preferable This role is 100% office based. A work-from-home options is not available. The term is 12 – 16 weeks in duration, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
