Position Description We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes. Shift Schedule Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Key Responsibilities Perform FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW (TIG) welding on various materials Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld specifications Ensure weld quality meets company and industry standards Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Required Education & Qualifications Journeyman Welder Certification or minimum 3rd year apprenticeship Proven experience with FCAW and GMAW welding (GTAW/TIG preferred for Journeyman) Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Experience with welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience using shears and press brakes is considered an asset Physical & Work Requirements Adherence to this requirement is mandatory for employment in this role. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work overtime (weekdays and/or weekends) as required Safety Requirement – Respirator Use This position requires the use of a respirator in certain tasks. In compliance with occupational health and safety standards, employees must be clean-shaven in areas where the respirator seals to the face to ensure proper fit and protection.
