Position Description The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to ensure products are delivered accurately, on time, and at the best possible cost. This role works closely with customers, suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams to schedule shipments, prepare shipping documentation, track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and support efficient day-to-day logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Plan outgoing shipments based on timing of unit completion and customer requests. Track shipments to ensure timely deliveries to customers through effective coordination and communication. Prepare RFQs for freight quotes and select preferred carrier based on both quote and availability. Prepare all necessary shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips and customs’ related documents for cross border shipments to the USA. Liaise with other departments to resolve questions related to unit completion date and customer delays. Plan and coordinate incoming shipments with purchasers and suppliers. Communicate shipment details and coordinate deliveries. Prepare various management reports. Required Education & Qualifications 2+ years of experience as logistics coordinator. Working knowledge of ISO requirements and regulations. Working knowledge with logistics software (ERPs). Outstanding organization and coordination abilities. Ability to work independently with little direction. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Experience working in a freight company will be considered an asset.
