Position Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our growing operations team. This role is critical to ensuring efficient scheduling, inventory management, and production flow in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment. Our Production Planners focus on internal plant operations, working closely with manufacturing teams to align production schedules with capacity and material availability. As part of an 80/20-driven organization, our planners are expected to simplify complexity, prioritize high-impact activities, and support rapid plant ramp-ups with precision and agility. Key Responsibilities Lead production planning activities for assigned product lines or plant areas. Analyze capacity, labor, and material constraints to optimize production schedules. Partner with material planners to align procurement and inventory strategies with production needs. Drive improvements in scheduling accuracy, inventory turns, and on-time delivery. Utilize ERP systems and planning tools to manage and communicate production plans. Mentor junior planners and contribute to cross-functional planning initiatives. Required Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations. Strong understanding of scheduling, inventory management, and ERP systems. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment. Experience in industrial manufacturing, HVAC, or related sectors preferred. Familiarity with 80/20 principles and lean manufacturing practices. Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
