Analyze calls for tenders as well as plans and specifications; Estimate and calculate the cost of materials, labor, equipment, time required to complete the project, and all other additional costs based on plans and specifications; Prepare project bids while respecting deadlines; Submit price requests to our suppliers; Take charge of change directives issued by our clients and establish new ones Prices; Transmit the necessary information for the execution of construction site work; Plan human and material resources in a timely manner; Work closely with project managers; Demonstrate agility and creativity to develop projects and find solutions that meet the changing needs of a competitive industry; Participate in post-mortem meetings; What You Need For This Role Training or a combination of experience/training in a field relevant to the role; Minimum 5 years of experience in an estimating role in commercial and institutional construction; Experience in insulation (an asset); Expert in reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings ; Knowledge of the construction environment and methods; In-depth knowledge of insulation, waterproofing, thermal protection, and fire protection products, etc.; Manages multiple projects effectively simultaneously; In-depth knowledge of production management and continuous improvement principles in the construction sector; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Passionate about customer service and sales-oriented; Rigor, organizational skills, and autonomy; Good knowledge of the Office suite, including Microsoft Project Management and estimating software; Valid Class 5 driver's license and vehicle for travel; Bilingualism (English/French) written and spoken; SEE YOU SOON!
