Start Date: August 26, 2024 Experience/Certification ECE Level 3 or 2 Montessori Trained Certified PIC First Aid (up to date) Experience in working with children in childcare/classroom settings. Experience working with children with high needs. ( preferred, not required) Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Other Qualifications Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active learning. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the early childhood program ( ages 2.5 - 6yr ) Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Provide individualized attention and support to each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent engagement activities. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Requirements
