Job summary

The US Tax Manager will prepare and review US personal and international tax returns while providing technical guidance to junior team members. They will also research complex tax compliance issues including residency status and foreign tax credits.

Job details

Responsibilities * Demonstrate a thorough understanding of tax concepts and application of tax knowledge as it relates to US federal income tax compliance. * Prepare and review of US personal tax returns, including Forms 1040, and 1040NR. * Prepare and review international forms, including FinCEN 114, 3520/3520-A, 5471, 8858, 8621, and 8865. * Research and analyze U.S. tax compliance issues, including, but not limited to residency status, income sourcing, foreign tax credits and treaty positions. * Provide daily guidance, coaching, and technical development to junior tax team members. Qualifications * Minimum 4-6 years of relevant US tax experience. * Completion of US CPA/EA or working towards completion, preferred. * Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving. * Results-oriented with a sense of urgency. Quick learner, self-starter and exudes a “can do” attitude. * Passion to learn and grow and be an integral part of a high-performing team.
