Senior Accountant North York, ON | Hybrid – 3 days onsite The Opportunity We are partnering with an established manufacturing and distribution company to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on position with broad responsibility across the accounting function, including full-cycle accounting, month-end close, inventory and cost accounting, and oversight of the AP and AR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant with 4–5 years of experience who enjoys being involved in the detail of the business and wants a role that combines technical accounting with operational and cost accounting. Key Responsibilities Manage the full cycle accounting process, including month-end close and financial reporting Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end schedules Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, providing guidance and support to two AP/AR clerks Manage standard costing and inventory accounting, including: Bills of Materials (BOMs) Work in Progress (WIP) Material consumption Cost variances and analysis Review inventory and manufacturing costs to ensure accuracy and identify variances Support the maintenance and accuracy of accounting records within the ERP system Prepare financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to the AP and AR team What We're Looking For 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods, or similar product-based environment Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly month-end, AP, and AR Solid experience with standard costing, including BOMs, WIP, and consumption Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis Experience working with an ERP system; SAGE X3 is highly preferred Experience supervising or leading a team, either formally or informally Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities What’s Offered $80,000 – $85,000 base salary Annual Bonus 3 weeks vacation Annual paid company closure over Christmas and New Year 5 paid sick days 5 paid personal days, including one personal day for your birthday Health benefits Study & professional development program Hybrid work model If you're an experienced accountant with a strong background in manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting, this is an opportunity to take on a broad role within an established and growing organization.

Requirements
