The Graduate Studies Program at Mount Allison University invites applications to teach Graduate Professional Development (CHEM/BIOL 5991) in the Winter 2027 term. Course topics might include leadership skills, scientific communication, project and data management, scientific writing and knowledge mobilization, integrity and EDI in research, grant writing, career planning, or other combination of professional skills. This is a stipendiary (part-time) appointment to be offered at Mount Allison in Sackville. The course format will be in person or synchronous online and will be a 3-credit hour course spanning 13 weeks. The successful candidate will receive a stipend of $8,490 for the term of this appointment. The successful applicant will have a PhD in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related area. Applicants with substantial relevant career experience and a MSc degree in a relevant discipline may also be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with some teaching/course management experience.
