This position involves delegating tasks and ensuring high quality preparation of all food items in a timely manner. The successful candidate is a dedicated, passionate individual who is knowledgeable; customer service oriented and with al proven demonstrated abilities in a professional kitchen. JOB RESPONSIBILTIES * Functional knowledge of kitchen areas operational skills in preparation and execution of modern cuisine * Assists with social parties, banquets and special events * Customer service focused * Ensures kitchen is clean and sanitary and is in compliance with all provincial requirements JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * Graduation from Culinary college * Minimum of 1-2 years of professional culinary experience * Ability to work nights and weekends * Strong basic foundation of culinary skills * Good organizational skills * Outstanding customer service skills with a can-do attitude * Food Handler Certification & WHIMIS * Basic computer skills * Candidates must have their own safety shoes. * This is a casual on call position requiring flexibility and shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends.
