Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lloydminster, AB. This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers across oil & gas, construction, industrial, and agriculture markets. Day-to-day tasks include building relationships with new and existing clients, identifying customer needs, proposing product and service solutions, and preparing quotes and pricing. The Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and effective after-sales support. The role also involves conducting market research, attending relevant industry events, and providing regular reporting on sales activities and performance. Qualifications Strong customer relationship management and account development skills, with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. Sales and negotiation skills, including experience preparing quotes, managing pricing, and closing deals in B2B environments. Knowledge of products and operations in oil & gas, construction, industrial, or agriculture industries, or a strong willingness to learn. Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple accounts, follow up on opportunities, and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) to manage customer information and reporting. Previous experience in account management, sales, or customer service is an asset. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for customer visits, as required. High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
