Position Overview and Requirements The Township is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the positions of Early Childhood Educators in our Before and After School Program St-Jean/La Croisée, Saint-Joseph, and St. Mother Teresa Daycares. The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security, and their well-being. * Hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification; * Valid and negative criminal record check – Vulnerable sector (within 6 months); * Must be 18 years or older; * Communication and interpersonal skills; * Patience, empathy and understanding of children’s needs; * Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; * Work in cooperation within a strong team environment. Language Requirements * Excellent proficiency in spoken and written French (St-Jean/La Croisée and Saint-Joseph); * Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English (St. Mother Teresa); * Bilingualism is an asset. Compensation The salary is between $22.23/hour and $25.02/hour and includes a pension plan, as well as free access to the Sports Dome Training Centre.
