Role Description The Osteopathic Manual Practitioner will provide in-person, hands-on osteopathic and myofascial treatments to clients at our Mississauga, ON clinic in a part-time, on-site role. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering safe and effective manual therapy, and documenting sessions in accordance with professional standards. The practitioner will educate clients on posture, movement, and self-care strategies to support treatment outcomes, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers when appropriate. Additional duties may include maintaining treatment spaces, participating in case discussions, and supporting clinic operations such as booking follow-ups and contributing to client satisfaction. Qualifications Formal training and recognized credentials in osteopathic manual practice, myofascial release, or a closely related manual therapy discipline. Strong clinical assessment abilities, including postural analysis, range-of-motion testing, and musculoskeletal evaluation. Proficiency in safe, client-centered manual therapy techniques, with attention to pain management, tissue health, and functional movement. Clear, professional communication skills for explaining treatment plans, documenting clinical notes, and educating clients. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and adherence to relevant professional and regulatory standards. Ability to build rapport with diverse clients, show empathy, and maintain professional boundaries in a therapeutic environment. Strong time management and organizational skills to manage appointments, follow-ups, and accurate record-keeping. Experience in a clinical or wellness setting is an asset; familiarity with musculoskeletal pain, rehabilitation, or sports-related issues is beneficial. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with evidence-informed manual therapy practices.

The practitioner will conduct thorough assessments and deliver hands-on osteopathic and myofascial treatments to improve client mobility and reduce pain. They are also responsible for developing tailored treatment plans, educating clients on self-care, and maintaining clinical documentation.
