Collaborate with technical leads, architects, network engineers, application owners, and infrastructure teams. Maintain migration documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures while participating in migration wave planning and execution. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure infrastructure engineering experience, including participation in at least one production-scale cloud migration. Proven VMware-to-Azure migration experience, particularly VM rehosting (lift-and-shift). Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate and replication technologies, such as Azure Site Recovery, Zerto, RiverMeadow, Carbonite/Double-Take, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Azure Landing Zones (ALZ) and familiarity with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Experience provisioning and managing Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, and recovery services. Solid understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, hub-and-spoke architecture, VPN, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS. Strong foundational networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, subnetting, and firewall concepts. Experience troubleshooting connectivity using Azure Network Watcher, NSG Flow Logs, and Connection Monitor. Experience with wave-based migration execution, dependency analysis, cutover planning, validation, and rollback procedures. Proficiency with Terraform and/or Bicep, PowerShell, Bash, and Azure CLI. Familiarity with ITIL change management, controlled deployment windows, and enterprise infrastructure environments. Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale enterprise migrations involving hundreds or thousands of VMs. Exposure to Azure workload replatforming in addition to rehosting. Experience working in highly structured or regulated enterprise environments. Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Additional Information This position is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates based in Ontario or able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
