Job summary

Role Overview We’re looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager who is more than a relationship-keeper, someone who is a genuine strategic partner to our clients. This is a retainer-focused role: you’ll own a portfolio of ongoing client accounts, not just one-off projects. You understand digital. You can speak credibly about web platforms, CMS, performance, SEO, and digital marketing strategy. You brief delivery teams clearly enough that things actually get built right. And you don’t wait for clients to come to you with problems, you proactively see where they can grow, and you bring those ideas to them. This is not a project coordination role. This role is about owning the client relationship at a strategic level: understanding their goals, spotting opportunities, managing their retainer budget wisely, and making sure the work we deliver actually moves their business forward. Note: We build exclusively on Webflow. Prior Webflow experience is a strong advantage; solid knowledge of modern web platforms is the minimum requirement. About N4 Studio N4 Studio is a global digital agency of around 60 people, specialising in Webflow design, development, and growth. We hold the distinction of being Webflow’s number one agency partner in the world, a position that gives our team direct access to Webflow’s product roadmap, early feature previews, and close collaboration with their global team. We operate fully remote, with clients and teammates across New Zealand, Australia, North America, the UK and EU. Our culture is built for international collaboration: clear communication, shared ownership, and a genuine respect for people doing great work regardless of where they are located. This is a real opportunity to join a high-performing, fast-scaling agency at a senior level, with direct impact on how our Client Success function grows. You’ll have a genuine seat at the table, not just executing, but shaping how we work. Who You Are 5+ years in a digital or creative agency, with at least 2 years in a Senior Account Management or Client Success role A proven track record managing retainer accounts, not just projects, with the ability to grow and deepen relationships over time Commercially sharp, with a clear instinct for spotting upsell and expansion opportunities and presenting them naturally to clients Technically credible in conversations about web platforms, CMS, performance, SEO/AEO, and digital marketing strategy A strong communicator and natural relationship-builder across both client and internal stakeholders Calm and structured when priorities shift, with the ability to juggle multiple accounts without anything falling through the cracks Experienced with tools like Webflow, Figma, Slack, and project management platforms Webflow experience is a significant advantage Comfortable working across time zones, particularly with teams and clients in New Zealand, Australia, North America, the UK and EU Full professional English proficiency required; resume must be submitted in English What You'll Be Doing Owning a portfolio of retainer clients (N4+) as their primary strategic contact at N4 Studio Leading roadmapping, prioritisation, and performance reviews across your accounts Translating client goals into clear, actionable briefs for design, development, and content teams Proactively identifying and driving account expansion opportunities, including Webflow’s Optimise and Analyse products, and presenting them as natural recommendations Managing retainer budgets month by month, scoping work accurately and catching scope or budget risks early Running regular governance calls and producing reporting that clients actually find valuable Contributing to how the Client Success function operates, including improving how we scope, brief, and track delivery Staying current on digital marketing trends, particularly in SEO/AEO and web performance, to bring informed perspective to client conversation We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
