THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE: As Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, you will lead NDI's global commercial organization and develop the company's long-term commercial strategy, with a clear mandate to strengthen customer relationships, enhance commercial execution, and drive sustainable revenue growth, with a primary focus on Medical OEM customers. Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will have overall accountability for sales, marketing, customer engagement, customer support, and the development of new markets and applications. This highly visible executive role carries profit and loss accountability and requires a leader who can foster strong customer partnerships, lead a high-performing global team, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE: Sales Leadership Lead a high-performing global commercial organization committed to growth, customer success, and operational excellence. Accountable for global revenue growth, gross margin performance, and commercial profitability through disciplined forecasting and pipeline management. Develop senior-level relationships with key Medical OEM customers and drive strategic account growth. Define the commercial performance framework, including sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, to support strategic decision-making and revenue growth. Drive sales effectiveness through process optimization, CRM utilization, and sales enablement tools. Marketing Leadership Oversee brand strategy, positioning, and messaging across all channels. Lead demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, and communications strategies. Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives to drive pipeline growth. Strengthen NDI's global market presence and industry leadership through strategic brand positioning, customer engagement, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives Facilitate the evaluation of new revenue streams and competitive intelligence. Align marketing efforts to support revenue generation and customer engagement. Leadership & Team Development Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build and develop high-performing teams by coaching, mentoring, and empowering senior leaders across the organization. Support talent planning, succession, and capability development. Manage commercial budgets, resources, and headcount. Foster cross-functional collaboration and a customer-focused culture. Forecast, plan, and implement related capital expenditures, expenses, headcount budgets and structure within related functions. Coach, mentor, and empower team members to successfully grow and develop a global team to ensure skills and critical gaps are fulfilled. Support your people leaders to drive talent management practices and continue to build a positive culture across the business. Education and Professional Qualifications: 15 years of experience within sales or commercial leadership in the healthcare/medical device industry. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. MBA or other advanced business degree is considered an asset. Strong blend of strategic and tactical acumen to lead and drive business results in an OEM business model. Progressive experience within leadership roles, preferably in a regulated organization. Strong financial acumen with previous experience managing a complex P&L. Travel at approximately 30%. The position is located in our Waterloo, Ontario office.
