The Cycle Counter adds value to our Customers by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of inventory data by completing cycle counts and assisting in inventory reconciliations. This role involves being a positive team member by assisting in verifying and correcting inventory discrepancies to ensure seamless operations. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all duties and responsibilities are completed as per Next’s Standard Operating Procedures. * Cycle Counts: Perform daily and assigned cycle counts to verify inventory by counting assigned products and reporting any warehouse discrepancies * Inventory Reconciliation: Review backorders, find missing inventory, and move as needed. Leave each counted location set up for the next employee’s success, using a clean-as-you-go mentality (i.e. clean, orderly, labels front facing, etc.) * Other Duties as Assigned: As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that aren’t listed above Recommended Qualifications: Knowledge/ Skill/ Ability Requirements: * Basic math functions * Basic English verbal, reading and writing skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Basic computer skills to utilize email and Excel spreadsheets Experience & Education: * MHE Certification required or the ability to obtain within three months of employment. On-site training will be provided if required by the position * High School or equivalent Physical Demands/ Working Conditions: * This position involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time * Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance * Position requires the ability to follow repetitive processes accurately Once you have gained proficiency in your current role and developed the necessary skills and experience, you are encouraged to explore other career opportunities within the organization that align with your goals and aspirations.
