Quality Director (QA & QC) – Nuclear Manufacturing Niagara Falls, Ontario | Executive Leadership Opportunity Shape the Future of Quality in Canada's Nuclear Industry NEPI is seeking a proven Quality Director to lead and elevate our Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions as we continue to grow our presence within the nuclear manufacturing sector. This is more than a compliance leadership role. We are looking for a strategic leader who can build a culture of quality excellence, strengthen operational performance, and serve as the management authority for our Nuclear Quality Program. You will have the opportunity to influence business decisions, lead organizational improvement initiatives, and help position NEPI as a trusted manufacturing partner within one of the world's most demanding industries. Reporting directly to the Vice President & General Manager, you will lead both the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams and partner with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project Management to ensure quality is embedded throughout the organization. What You'll Lead As Quality Director, you will: Own and continuously improve NEPI's Quality Management System in accordance with CSA N285, CSA N299.1/Z299.1, ISO 9001, customer requirements, and certification obligations. Provide leadership and direction to Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams across multiple manufacturing sites. Champion a culture where quality is independent, respected, and integrated into daily operations. Drive audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and successful customer and third-party audits. Lead corrective action, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality performance and operational execution. Oversee supplier quality programs, qualification processes, and performance improvement activities. Act as NEPI's senior representative on quality matters with customers, auditors, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Define quality strategy, establish meaningful performance metrics, and provide executive-level reporting on quality performance, risks, and opportunities. The Ideal Candidate You are an experienced quality executive who combines technical expertise with strong business acumen and leadership presence. You bring: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or related discipline). 10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Deep expertise in nuclear quality requirements, including CSA N285, CSA N299.1/Z299.1, and ISO 9001. Extensive experience leading audits, certifications, corrective action programs, and quality system governance. A track record of building high-performing teams and driving measurable performance improvement. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executives, customers, regulators, and operational teams. P.Eng. designation (asset). Direct nuclear manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
