Located in downtown Montreal our head office is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Controller. Position Details & Responsibilities; Reporting to the controller, aiding them in tasks including but not limited to; month end and year end closings. Perform and take responsibility over bank reconciliations. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable from entering invoice to processing payments. Handle the cycle of accounts receivable. Prepare and remit GST/QST on a monthly basis. Apply knowledge of GST/QST rules in order to properly claim ITCs & ITR’s. Work proficiently with accounting systems to manage financial data and reporting. Qualifications: Comfortability with Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Can operate effectively in a multi-currency and multi-company environment. Ideal candidates should have 4+ years experience or a combination of accounting education & experience in similar roles. Details: Flexible role requiring 4 days of the week in the downtown Montreal office. Bilingual (French & English) strongly preferred.
