NAC is currently seeking a full-time Construction Surveyor Coordinator, initially based on our Dalewood Water Reclamation Facility project in St. Thomas, ON. Accommodation may be provided to eligible candidates, if required. Position Summary: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Survey Coordinator is responsible for capturing and translating field data into accurate construction models to support project planning and execution. Combining surveying expertise with advanced technologies such as BIM, LiDAR, laser scanning, UAV/drone imaging, and robotic total stations. Responsibilities: Field surveying using Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Station Translate survey information into construction models to Identifiy construcability issues and conflicts before they arise Liaise with key stakeholders such as survey team, design firms, project team, to assist in the coordination of constructability, questions (RFI process) and the coordination of additional work Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations and other geodetic measurements Layout, control and reading/interpreting as-built drawings Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, data, plots, reports, records and documents related to surveys Verify accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at site Calculate heights, depts., relative positions, property lines and other characteristics of terrain Effectively interact with other key NAC jobsite personnel working in a team environment Planning and scheduling Contract drawings and specification interpretation Coordinate the contractor’s review of shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with contractual requirements Assist with project cost budgets and maintain programs to meet projected forecasts Coordination and instruction of all subcontractors under the direction of the Project Manager and/or Superintendent Requirements: Construction related formal education program – civil/structural/geotechnical degree/diploma or an equivalent combination of technical training & experience Field surveying using Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Station Experience with LiDAR (terrestrial and mobile), Laser Scanning, and UAV/drone photogrammetry Experience with BIM and construction modeling Experience as a Chief Surveyor is preferred Must be well versed in Layout, control and reading/interpreting as-built drawings Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and organizational skills The ability to work with minimum supervision Participate in become knowledgeable with NAC'S Health & Safety policies and procedures, as per the roles and responsibilities within the HSE Manual NAC Offers: Competitive compensation Opportunities for career growth, development and advancement, including financial assistance Comprehensive benefit plan (dental, vision, health, etc.) Employee & Family Assistance Program Excellent company matched pension plan Registered Retirement Savings Plans Additional time off between Christmas and New Year’s Day Community involvement opportunities Friendly working environment Numerous team activities and various company events NAC is committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals to achieve their goals. Requirements

Candidates must have a formal education in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering and proficiency with Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Stations. Experience with LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry, and BIM is required, with a preference for those who have served as a Chief Surveyor.
