Where You’ll Be Working Location: Suncor Schedule: 14x14 (rotating days & nights) Overtime: Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week *Truck rate is separate and is based on tooling Accommodations: Not Provided, $5/hour Living out Allowance Transportation: Provided to and from site What’s In It for You? Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing Fleet repairs including Frame/Dump body repairs, Dozer ice lugging, Pin lancing, Implement repairs and crack gouging/repairs. Fabrication of various items, Numbers, signs, Stands or whatever needed for the Maintenance/Ops groups Indoors/Outdoors work as needed Qualifications What Makes You The ONE Heavy Equipment repair experience required (Trucks/Dozers/Shovels/Excavators) Trained and experienced with Stick, MIG and large wire-feed welders, radiograph, Cooper-heat, Plasma cutter, Lance, overhead and/or mobile truck cranes as well as other tools of the trade Red Seal/Alberta Journeyperson Welder Welding truck outfitted with proper Welding Deck $5M Liability Insurance Summary What's Next If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following: Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a recent Driver’s Abstract Provide a valid copies of the following: CSO, Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness and H2S Awareness. All tickets are to be completed through Energy Safety Canada Be subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing: Breath Alcohol Test Urine Drug Test Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment Audiometric Testing Vision Screening Criminal Record Check Once dispatched the following processes will occur: Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details. Requirements

Must be a Red Seal or Alberta Journeyperson Welder with a welding truck and $5M liability insurance. Requires extensive experience in heavy equipment repair and proficiency with multiple welding and cutting tools.
