We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating specialized mental health and substance use services and coordinating and assigning requests for consultation. Prioritizes consultations based on urgency and assessment of patientsand provides consistent liaison with physicians, nursing unit staff, and other health care professionals, building capacity through supporting care planning and providing education to health care professionals, networking with appropriate community programs, and supporting coordinated transition to the community. Supports care coordination with relavant community and emergency services partners. Resume and cover letter outlining extensive crisis assessment experience for Mental Health & Addictions. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 09:00 to 09:00, 12:15 to 20:00 (rotating)
