We are currently seeking a Production Labourer to join our Mat Plant Operations team. In this role, you will support the production of access mats in a manufacturing environment, helping ensure quality products while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient worksite. Responsibilities Production & Execution Keep up with the production line to meet operational targets Complete finishing tasks accurately and in a timely manner Perform general labour duties related to mat production Safety & Worksite Maintenance Work with the supervisor to maintain an orderly and safe worksite Follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas Equipment Operation Operate power tools and production equipment safely and efficiently Support basic equipment upkeep and report issues as required Experience Previous physical labour experience required Lumber or manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset Experience operating power tools and equipment preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and schedule Other Skills and Abilities Strong team player with a collaborative mindset Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety High attention to detail and quality of work Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and supervisors Basic understanding of conflict resolution and employee relations practices is considered an asset Licence / Certification / Education Grade 12 education preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Comprehensive employer-paid benefits package Health Care Spending Account Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) Employee Stock Purchase Plan and Profit Sharing Registered Savings Plan (RSP) matching Full-time, long-term employment opportunity (no contractors) Company-provided equipment and tools required for the role Equal opportunity employer with a strong commitment to safety Drug and alcohol-free workplace At Northern Mat & Bridge, we value diversity, teamwork, and respect.
