Reporting to the Manager of Administrative Services of the Southwest Region, you will: Have an in-depth knowledge of the campus Business Office sufficient to develop recommendations, oversee assigned functions (e.g. accounts receivables, student financials, data entries, T2202s, invoicing, etc) Resolve non-routine administrative problems. Oversee the day-to-day operational workflow of the Business Office, Providing guidance and training when necessary. Complete student loan processing, create payment plans, deferrals, sponsorship coordination, invoicing, withdrawal letters, outstanding balance collections, and respond to general student account queries as required. Main back up for front counter activity, including cash receipting, posting payments and reception related tasks. Perform various financial analysis and tasks as assigned by the Manager What you'll need Qualifications Qualifications and Occupational Experience: The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration. You have a minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in a fast-paced office environment. Experience within a finance, accounting, and/or a student accounting environment would be considered an asset Demonstrated organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrated customer service experience with ability to communicate effectively and courteously within a diverse environment. Occupational experience using PeopleSoft Student, SAP or other account management software would be considered an asset. You are comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and have a strong, demonstrable knowledge of Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365. You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology, and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work. Experience training others would be considered an asset. Experience in an educational environment supporting and/or providing services to students and prospective students would be considered an asset.
