The Medical Laboratory Technologist performs analytical tests and procedures using both manual and automated methodologies within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. They are responsible for operating laboratory instruments, interpreting test results against reference intervals, and maintaining strict patient confidentiality. Candidates must be graduates of an approved Medical Laboratory Technologist program and hold or be eligible for NSRMLS licensure. Registration with CSMLS is required, along with the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
