They are responsible for maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system and participating in quality improvement activities. Applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia and certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is also required.
