Job Description The Bridgewater and Area Family Health Clinic is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage for the following dates: September 21st, 2026 - October 2nd, 2026 October 26th, 2026 - October 30th, 2026 Responsibilities delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members Remuneration guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day) additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded. accommodations up to $300 per night travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500) travel time up to 10 hours per week licensing fees for College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSNS) Qualifications all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) all family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Additional Information Clinic Details The Bridgewater and Area Family Health Clinic offers a supportive and collaborative work environment with existing clerical staff, a family practice nurse, and social work services. Physicians have the flexibility to choose part-time or full-time hours, with adaptable workdays to suit their schedules. The clinic provides opportunities for same-day clinic appointments and utilizes MedAccess as their clinic EMR. Requirements

Applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia and certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is also required.
