Nu Build Contracting Inc. is a full turnkey fiber, copper and network infrastructure contractor for major communication and utility companies. Nu Build Contracting is engaged on projects across Ontario involving directional drilling, trenching, aerial work, fiber splicing, internal piping, MDU wiring, hydro vac excavation, cabling maintenance and construction and replacement of underground wiring. Incentives: Union Competitive wages Great work environment/ culture Duties and Responsibilities: Operate vehicle-mounted aerial devices equipment Perform aerial telecom construction Placement of poles and anchors Placement of strand Lashing Cable Transferring telecom plant from old pole to new pole Climbing of poles with spurs or ladder Completing construction as per design laid out on plans Placement of underground cable in duct Completion of daily job specific paper work Organization of work operations to ensure safety of yourself and people and pedestaling around work area Qualifications: Minimum 2 years’ experience in aerial line construction Min Valid DZ Driver’s License (with a clean abstract) Up to date Working at Heights training Minimum 2 years’ experience working with aerial devices Strong work ethic Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience: Aerial telecommunication: 2 years (preferred) Ontario DZ Driver's License (preferred) Work Location: Northumberland County In person

Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in aerial line construction and hold a valid DZ driver's license. Additionally, up-to-date Working at Heights training is required to perform the physical duties of the role.
