Position Summary This is a casual position based on the TD Station event schedule. The Event Custodian takes direction from the Lead Custodian during the Event. The role ensures all work is being done safely in accordance with the TD Station JHSC and Worksafe NB Guidelines. This is a casual unionized position and will follow the terms and conditions as laid out in the Working Agreement of C.U.P.E Local #3985. This role pays an hourly rate of $16.37 CAD (per CBA). Benefits As Per The Union Agreement. This position will remain open until December 31, 2026. Responsibilities Prior to the event, all paper dispensers should be checked for stock, garbage cans emptied if needed, and bathrooms, lobbies, and suites checked. During the event, keeping public areas such as bathrooms, stairwells, concourses, lobbies, and suites free of slip and falls is most important. Liquid spills should be a priority and properly marked. Stay until at least the first break of the overnight cleanup as needed. Assist building attendants in any maintenance issues, such as running toilets or any other building-related issues, if needed. Be aware of and immediately report any issues that may pose a danger to TD Station staff, patrons, or clients. Report to the lead custodian or designate. Clean and maintain public areas before and after events. Areas include Lower and Upper Bowl, Stairwells, Washrooms, Hallways, Concourse, Suites, Washrooms, and Lobby Areas. Be presentable to the public and wear the assigned TD Station clothing identifying as TD Station Employees. Take direction from other leaders, such as event staff supervisors or building operations as needed. Expected to primarily work safely and efficiently with others as a group during cleanups unless assigned a specific task. Work with little to no supervision as needed. Assist other workers in duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience with housekeeping/custodial. Flexible schedule to work extended hours on weekends, evenings, and overnights. Ability to perform physical tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting. Must be able to work around large crowds, be reliable, prompt, and courteous, and maintain safe working behavior. Strengthened by our Differences. Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent and housekeeping or custodial experience are required. Candidates must be available for extended weekend, evening, and overnight hours and be able to perform physical cleaning tasks while working safely and courteously around large crowds.
