Position Summary A Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency in hospitality and food service settings while supporting staff and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests. Stewards ensure that all areas, including kitchens, dining rooms, bars, and lounges, are clean and sanitary. This includes washing dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils, cleaning floors, food preparation surfaces, and kitchen equipment, and managing waste disposal to meet health and safety standards. Stewards manage the flow of clean and dirty dishes, operate industrial dishwashing machinery, monitor chemical levels and water temperatures, and transport clean items to service stations. They may also assist with opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining order in storage areas. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 - $22.00 CAD Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching. This position will remain open until November 27, 2026. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Clean dining areas, kitchens, bars, and service stations, wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, and ensure all areas meet sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation, receive and store deliveries, manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of food and beverages. Support waitstaff, chefs, and other team members by assisting with service, setting tables, and preparing areas for service or events. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; related experience is preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule and work long hours based on business needs. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Must be able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor. Strengthened by our Differences.
