What Success Looks Like at UTS * Put customers at the centre of everything you do * Lead with integrity, accountability, and respect * Embrace innovation and continuous improvement * Foster collaboration and employee development * Commit to operational excellence and safety Key Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training, and performance management for technicians * Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation and utility safety standards * Plan, organize, schedule, assign, and supervise employee and contractor work activities * Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams on project planning and execution * Ensure materials, equipment, and vehicles are available and maintained * Participate in annual capital and operating budget planning What You Bring * 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience * Experience within electrical utility, distribution, construction, or related infrastructure environments * Valid Ontario Class G Driver’sLicencewith satisfactory driving record * Strong knowledge of utility operations, safety practices, and workforce scheduling * Ability to read and interpret distribution, substation, and grid drawings/maps Preferred Qualifications * Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification * IHSA Powerline Technician Trades Training Program completion * CET, P.Eng., or related technical education UTS Consultants Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
