The company is currently seeking a Director of Retail Operations to play a key leadership role and oversee all retail operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & KPI Management

Drive overall sales performance across the company's six retail locations (Montreal and Laval).

Analyze business results and key performance indicators (sales, productivity, performance ratios) and translate findings into actionable strategies.

Support store managers in interpreting business metrics and driving store performance.

Develop initiatives to optimize sales, customer experience, and operational performance.

Monitor results and adjust strategies to achieve business objectives.

Foster a culture focused on sales excellence, performance, and customer experience.
2. Retail Planning & Operations
-
Plan, organize, and coordinate retail operations across the store network with a proactive approach.

Ensure effective workforce scheduling, staffing, and in-store operational planning.

Anticipate operational needs (promotions, contests, peak periods) and ensure flawless execution.

Work closely with internal and external marketing teams to align promotional and commercial initiatives with in-store realities.

Contribute to the planning of promotional campaigns, events, and retail activations.

Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to optimize merchandising and the in-store customer experience.

Oversee the coordination of company events, trade shows, and retail activations.

Ensure consistent execution of marketing initiatives across all retail locations.

Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency.

Maintain a regular field presence through store visits.

Manage operational priorities and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
3. Human Resources Management

Lead, coach, and develop store managers and their teams.

Strengthen the autonomy and capabilities of retail leaders.

Oversee day-to-day human resources management, including scheduling, absenteeism, performance management, and employee engagement.

Foster a positive, respectful workplace aligned with the company's values.

Support employee development through coaching and continuous feedback.

Address people-related challenges as well as operational store issues, including certain aspects related to facilities, the physical environment, and the smooth operation of retail locations.
Candidate Profile

Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail management (store management and/or multi-site leadership).

Strong understanding of retail sales, performance metrics, and store operations.

Ability to analyze business results and translate them into concrete action plans.

Experience managing human resources in a retail environment.
-
Strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Coaching-oriented leadership style focused on developing people and fostering a learning culture.

Ability to structure, organize, and improve operational practices.
-
Respected, motivating, and credible leader with a strong presence in the field.

Open-minded and comfortable working in an inclusive environment.

Interest in wellness and overall well-being.

Bilingual in English and French.
