This role requires strong technical skills, excellent multitasking ability, and a guest-focused mindset in a busy nightlife setting.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and serve beverages in accordance with Open Aera’s recipes and presentation standardsProvide efficient, friendly, and engaging service to guests seated at the bar and in surrounding service areasMaintain strong knowledge of spirits, champagne, wine, and cocktail offerings to make confident recommendations and drive salesExecute high-volume service while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and organization at all timesMonitor bar inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to bussers or managementEnsure all glassware, tools, and work surfaces remain clean and sanitized throughout the shiftFollow all Smart Serve guidelines and company policies related to responsible alcohol serviceProcess orders and payments accurately using the POS systemSupport bottle service and service staff by preparing beverages promptly to maintain smooth service flowParticipate in opening, closing, and side duties, including bar setup and breakdownContribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environmentPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or nightclub environmentSmart Serve certification requiredStrong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, and champagne serviceAbility to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a loud, crowded environmentConfident, outgoing personality with strong guest engagement skillsExcellent multitasking and organizational abilitiesComfortable handling high-value transactions and managing multiple tabs simultaneouslyAvailability to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when requiredAdditional InformationThis is a current vacancy.17.60 per hour plus gratuitiesAI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
