Olymbec is currently looking for a temporary fill-in who can take over for our wonderful receptionist during her vacation. The contract term is for two and a half weeks (from Wednesday, November 18, 2026, to Friday, December 4, 2026). As our temp, you will receive a three day training from our receptionist, ensuring you are well-prepared to manage the day-to-day while she is away. As our fill in receptionist you will be first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will provide administrative support to employees and clients, and help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations of our property management company. The Receptionist will report to the Director of Human Resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner * Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls * Manage the front desk and maintain a tidy reception area * Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed * 598766cReceive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries * Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation * Handle general inquiries and provide accurate information * Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary * Create waybills for FedEx, Purolator, etc. to pick up QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred) * Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software * Professional appearance and positive attitude SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Customer service–oriented mindset * Attention to detail * Ability to handle confidential information * Time management and reliability * Ability to work independently and as part of a team WORK ENVIRONMENT * Office-based, front-desk role * May require sitting for extended period Diversity and inclusion We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
