Specific Responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible for the following main responsibilities: Manage human resources activities on a daily basis (employee meetings, evaluations, training, overtime); Manage the performance and efficiency of the department in addition to ensuring compliance with HACCP standards; Promote and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety rules; Promote a favorable, productive and safe work environment; Listen to your employees and maintain good working relationships with team members; Ensure effective management of the onboarding, and training of new employees by ensuring that required procedures, work methods, and information are communicated and understood. Manage the application of the collective agreement with a view to a harmonious employment relationship; Produce the required documentation and liaise with other departments, internal and external clients. Requirements More than three (3) years of relevant experience in supervision in the field of production in a unionized environment or any other experience deemed equivalent; Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards; Knowledge of slaughtering, eviscerating and cutting poultry (an asset). Abilities Demonstrates planning and organizational skills; Demonstrates skills in managing priorities and emergencies; Demonstrates dynamism and professionalism; Is available; Demonstrates flexibility and versatility; Has a sense of coordination, initiative and autonomy; Is functionally bilingual (French and English) both orally and in writing.
